The RS20MM was developed in close collaboration with Matteo Mancuso to faithfully capture the sound and feel of his own Custom Revstar. Featuring DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups voiced to his taste, a stopbar tailpiece, a chambered Mahogany body with Flame Maple top, and a carbon-reinforced 3-piece Mahogany neck, it delivers the distinctive tone, resonance and balance that define his playing.
Known for his virtuoso fingerstyle playing, Matteo Mancuso combines classical influence with intricate jazz fusion flavour which has helped him stand out from the pack and garner a tremendous, rightfully earned mass following. A hugely talented musician, Mancuso loves has been using Revstar since the start of his career and it's easy to see why. A blend of classic inspiration with contemporary build features, the Revstar compliments his playing style perfectly.
An elegant and timeless design, the RS20MM features a beautiful Vintage Sunburst finish matched with gold hardware, all of which are enhanced by the gorgeous Flame Maple top. His signature on the truss rod cover and logo inlay on the 12th fret bring a touch of class.
The neck is topped with a Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius with 22 jumbo stainless steel frets for long-term durability and silky smooth bends and vibrato.
The DiMarzio PAF 36th Anniversary pickups are voiced for expressive sustain and dynamic pick response which match his style with aplomb. These pickups can achieve anything from sweet, articulate cleans, warm comforting jazz to classic humbucking growl. With a 5 way pickup selector and passive push/pull Focus Switch there is fantastic tonal versatility at your fingertips.
