Hand built in sunny California, the Xotique Series is all about making something special. With only the very best, most acoustically resonant woods selected, each guitar is a hand built masterpiece. The latest addition to this incredible line up from NAMM 2024 is this XTC-TL, and it does not disappoint!
A boutique take on the classic Tele thinline shape, the Alder body is finished in a lush heavy relic Shoreline Gold, authentically aged; it looks fresh from the road. With a nitrocellulose lacquer coating, the body has space to breathe, allowing the beautiful, organic tones from each hand selected cut to really resonate.
The necks on these are something really special, featuring a Roasted Flame Maple, a Modern C Shape neck profile, an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 7.25" radius and Jescar FW55090 frets it feels comfortable and familiar. Gotoh vintage style locking tuners and a custom 6-saddle hardtail bridge deliver incredible tuning stability and intonation.
A pair of Xotic Raw Vintage XTC-3 humbucker pickups delivers vintage Tele tone with a real punch and super clarity. Hand wound on site in LA they have a super wide tonal range with a distinctive twang. The Raw Vintage pickups are a great feature of the Xotic XTC-TL.
