The Two-Rock Studio Overdrive is a compact amplifier built for players who want expressive gain, precise control and high quality tones in a simple, easy-to-use format. It delivers a wide dynamic range that stays articulate and touch responsive, even at lower volumes, making it just as inspiring at home or in the studio as it is on stage.
The Two-Rock Studio Overdrive features a 35w power section with a pair of high quality 6L6 valves. It features 2 versatile channels, allowing you to have access to an extremely wide range of tonal options. It’s impossible to dial in a bad sound on a amp like this, every tone is usable and features the legendary Two-Rock DNA.
The clean channel delivers the textbook Two-Rock clean tone we all know and love. It’s super open sounding, with a firm low end and a clear top end that tracks pick attack well. The cascading overdrive channel is voiced for clarity and definition, allowing individual notes to remain distinct and clear as the gain increases. Each channel features independent Gain and Master Volume controls, alongside Treble, Middle, Bass, and Presence controls. A newly designed Tone Stack Bypass EQ introduces an alternate voicing that tightens the response and brings the midrange forward, offering a more direct, connected character for lead work.
On the Studio Overdrive you will find a full tube-buffered effects loop, which is integrated into the signal path to maintain tonal integrity and dynamic response when using your favourite time-based effects. It also features a push/pull feature on the “Send Level” & “Return Level” controls for added flexibility. With the amp you will receive a 2-button footswitch, which gives you access to the lead channel, and tone stack bypass.
The Studio Overdrive is intentionally straightforward and highly touch-responsive. It feels great to play and is one of those amps that you can play for hours and quickly lose track of time. Thanks to it’s compact size, this amp is ideal for taking out on the road, practising at home, or recording in the studio.
