This Shorty is a seriously impressive guitar - understated yet stands out in all the right ways! A Beautiful Satin Sherwood Green Finish over a Primavera body looks sleek and provides great comfort. The Chocolate Maple neck combines with a Rosewood fingerboard to offers supreme structural stability as well as huge resonance and sustain.
The Satin Natural Even-Taper +.100 neck adds a natural feel with optimum comfort all along the fretboard thanks to Heavy Stainless Steel frets, a 12"-14" compound radius and 1 11/16" nut width. The guitar is incredibly versatile, suitable for low-action, fast playing styles with vintage-inspired tones coming from the pickups. The shorter scale length of 24.75" lowers the string tension for easier fretting and a generally warmer, fatter tone.
Loaded with PQ1 & PQ2 soapbar-style pickups which eliminate the 60-cycle hum, these pickups deliver a unique sound that sits between the clarity of single coils and the fatness of humbuckers. They provide a wide bandwidth with low, booming lows and clear, musical highs, but without the harshness often associated with single coils.
This one features a vintage tremolo, locking tuners and tasteful looking chrome hardware, this guitar offers excellent tuning stability even with extended trem use, providing smooth pitch shifting and reliable intonation.
An absolute cracker of a guitar, classy, elegant and just damn cool!
