The Natural Satin Chocolate Maple neck is super stable and features an Even-Taper profile - measuring .810" at the 1st fret and .870" at the 12th - with 1 11/16" nut width and 25.5" scale length, for a slick but stable neck grip. The 12"-14" radius Blackheart fingerboard not only looks stunning but offers optimal playing all along the neck and prevents the string fretting out on bends and wide vibrato. One of the most notable features of the Angel is its fretwork. Equipped with Jumbo stainless steel frets, this guitar offers unparalleled playability and responsiveness. The stainless steel frets provide a silky smooth feel, allowing for effortless string bends and fluid vibrato.
Equipped with a recessed Floyd Rose "Baby Floyd" tremolo system and HC1, HC2, and SC1 pickups, the Angel delivers a versatile tonal palette. The HC Series humbuckers are designed to produce a balanced sound with muscular midrange, musical upper-mids, and sweet highs, ideal for a wide range of playing styles from vintage rock to contemporary fusion. Add in the hum-cancelling, musical, single-coil SC1 paired with a 5-way switch and Splitter switch, you have a plethora of tones to choose for a variety of applications.
Completing the package are .010-.046 Elixir strings, which offer exceptional tone and extended lifespan. Additionally, all Anderson guitars come equipped with the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, ensuring precise intonation and accurate tuning across the fretboard.
