This is a beautiful, player-grade 2019 Taylor 812ce 12-Fret. If you are looking for an acoustic with incredible harmonic complexity and a "broken-in" feel, this is the one. This model has a 12th-fret neck join, which shifts the bridge closer to the centre of the lower bout, resulting in a warmer, more powerful voice than a standard 14-fret guitar.
- The Sound: When you strum a chord, you'll notice beautiful octave overtones ringing out, no doubt thanks to the V-Class bracing system.
- Lead Lines: Unlike many small-bodied acoustics that can sound thin as you move up the neck, this 812ce maintains a thick, full-bodied sound on the higher frets, making it an exceptional choice for lead lines.
- Tonewoods: Solid Sitka Spruce top paired with Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, the classic combo that results in deep lows and sparkling highs.
This guitar has been played and loved, and as such, it shows visible wear and tear (see photos for dings and surface marks). It plays like a dream and has that open, matured tone that only comes with a guitar that has been used consistently.
This 812ce will go through our workshop for a full professional setup. We will ensure the action is perfectly dialled in, the frets are polished, and the ES2 electronics are functioning perfectly. Whether you're recording or playing live, this guitar is ready to perform. Includes the original Taylor Deluxe Brown Hardshell Case.
