The Suhr Standard Legacy range is designed to capture the looks, tone and feel of the first guitar designed by our good friend John Suhr back in 1984. It's an 1980s Mark Knopfler inspired design with the attention to detail you have come to expect from Suhr.
With an African okoume body and a figured maple top, it looks great, sounds great, and nails that Mark Knopfler look and vibe. It features a stunning Trans Caramel stain, which looks super slick and really brings out the great figuring on show.
This Standard Legacy is equipped with Suhr's Even C Slim neck profile and features rolled fingerboard edges. This neck profile is one of Suhr's most popular options and is extremely comfortable and easy to play. The maple neck has a satin finish, so it's super easy to navigate. The rosewood fingerboard is dark in colour and features a 10"-14" radius, stainless steel frets, and dot inlays.
With a super versatile HSS pickup loadout, this Suhr covers a wide range of tones. It features a pair of EMG SA single coils, alongside ann EMG 85 humbucker in the bridge. With this setup, you can nail those classic Mark Knopfler tones. Tuning stability comes from a great Floyd Rose original tremolo system, which gives you great control and reliability.
