Suhr have managed to cram in all the features of the original Koko boost and a whole lot more into one single pedal
To do this Suhr decide to invent a new type of footswitch technology, to be used in this and their other new pedal for 2014, the "Rufus Fuzz"
Basically, the footswitch now does the job of 2 seperate footswitches, as you can hold the footswitch down to reveal a second mode and easily switch between those modes. So now you can switch between the regular boost and the mid boost modes, plus you now have a mid range q control, which really enables you to dial in the exact amount of midrange.
Suhr konw that pedalboard "real estate" space is precious to a lot of guitar players, so this new slimline version is going to be a hit.
