The Strymon Olivera is a high-fidelity digital delay pedal designed to recreate the mechanical, modulated character of vintage oil can echo units. Inspired by Tel-Ray designs from the 1950s, Olivera delivers syrupy, warbly repeats with a darker tonal profile and continuously evolving modulation.
Powered by a high-performance ARM processor, Olivera offers stereo input and output, full MIDI implementation, expression pedal compatibility, and 300 onboard presets. Its Class A JFET input ensures tonal integrity, while the intuitive control layout makes it easy to dial in classic textures or explore new sonic territory.
Olivera's delay engine captures the unique band-limited tails and unpredictable modulation of oil can circuits, offering a distinct alternative to tape or digital delays. Whether used for ambient washes, vintage slapback, or experimental textures, it brings a nostalgic yet flexible voice to any rig.
