Strandberg Boden Plini Edition N2.6T - Black Satin Metallic

Strandberg have long been pioneers of ergonomics when it comes to guitars, focusing exclusively on headless models for a light weight playing experience that is greatly favoured by modern technical players. Long time collaboraters, legendary experimental guitarist Plini and Strandberg have teamed up for 2026 for this newest edition to the Boden Plini model, with some super exciting features. 

The base features on the guitar include a Swamp Ash body with a bolt-on, titanium-reinforced Roasted Maple neck and Ebonol fingerboard with Custom Plini inlay. A 25"-25.5" scale length, 20" fretboard radius, and 24 stainless steel frets with a 1.65" nut width and stainless steel zero fret create an already impressive playing platform but what really sets this guitar apart is the EndurNeck profile. This asymmetrical neck carve is engineered for a more natural hand position, reducing strain and fatigue so you can focus your energy on playing better, for longer.

When it comes to hardware, the Boden Standard doesn't pull its punches thanks to the proprietary Arc TILT hardware (Twin Incline Lever Technology). This system utilises an offset pivot point configuration, unique trem block and baseplate design with a new tremolo arm attachment, which all combines to provide ultimate tuning stability and the smoothest action even with aggressive usage.

The Boden Plini Edition is loaded with Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic pickups. Chosen for their extreme versatility, these pickups are capable of anything from explosive, thick humbucker riffs to crystal clear single-coil tones, the Multi-Voice technology enables you to reach the full sonic potential of your playing. They are noiseless and produce articulate, dynamic sound at any level.

The Open Core Classic Humbucker Neck voicings offer three distinct tones. Voice 1 provides the ideal, sought-after vintage P.A.F. neck tone with the perfect output level and dynamics. Voice 2 is a Fluence-exclusive neck tone with airy, unreal highs, vocal midrange, and tight lows. Voice 3 delivers a clear, vintage single coil tone.

Similarly, the Open Core Classic Humbucker Bridge voicings provide three distinct tones. Voice 1 is the calibrated vintage PAF bridge humbucker tone with the perfect output level. Voice 2 is the quintessential hot rodded bridge humbucker tone without any drawbacks. Voice 3 provides a slightly overwound single coil tone.
