Sterling Tosin Abasi Kaizen 7 - Stealth Black

There are few players as imposing as Tosin Abasi. As lead songwriter and guitarist of progressive metal giants Animals as Leaders, he is known for his complex composition and virtuoso lead playing. Tosin first started designing guitars way back in 2017 under his own company Abasi Concepts. Tosin's creativity certainly shone through and its easy to see why these guitars have such a cult following! We're extremely exited to present Tosin's latest project. Back in 2022 Tosin teamed up with our good friends at Ernie Ball Music Man to design an instrument unlike anything before and now these guitars have entered the Sterling catalogue too!

It features a nyatoh body paired with a Stealth Black satin finish. The body is shaped not just to make a bold statement but to also enhance ergonomics, shaped by Abasi's unique playing style. A roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard make for a solid tonal foundation that is backed up by sleek playability thanks to the 15.75" fingerboard radius, 25.5" scale length, and 49.5mm nut width.

Loaded with a pair of custom voiced ceramic magnet humbuckers, you have loads of midrange bite that effortlessly cuts through the mix with its raw and powerful sound. Another stand-out feature of the Kaizen 7 is the Steinberger Gearless tuners, utilising straight string pull and a clamp to ensure consistent tuning stability whilst reducing headstock weight. Paired with the Sterling Modern Tremolo, it's a precision instrument that can handle just about anything you throw at it.
