The Sterling Sabre is a high-performance electric guitar designed for modern players. It features a nyatoh body with a flame maple top, offering both durability and a visually appealing finish. The body is shaped for comfort and ease of access to higher frets, making it suitable for long playing sessions. Its 25.5" scale length and 12" fingerboard radius combine with a modern C-shaped roasted maple neck and 22 medium-high stainless steel frets to provide smooth playability, fast action, and precise intonation across the entire neck. The 5-bolt neck attachment ensures stability, while the white dot fret markers offer clear visual guidance.
The Sabre is equipped with dual Fishman Fluence Modern Alnico humbucker pickups in an HH configuration. These pickups provide a versatile, hum-free tone capable of delivering clarity at any gain level. With push-pull functionality and a 3-way toggle switch, players can access two distinct voicings, expanding the guitar's sonic possibilities for both clean and distorted sounds. Controls include a single volume and tone knob, providing straightforward operation while allowing precise tonal adjustments.
Additional features enhance both performance and convenience. Locking tuners improve tuning stability, reduce string slippage, and make string changes faster and easier. The modern tremolo bridge allows expressive pitch modulation and maintains tuning reliability during aggressive playing. Each Sabre is supplied with a deluxe Sterling by Music Man gig bag, providing protection and portability for gigging or travel. These combined features make the Sabre a reliable, versatile, and professional-grade instrument suitable for a wide range of musical styles.
