The Sterling Valentine JV60 is a high-performance electric guitar that combines modern design with proven playability. Its Mississippi Swamp Ash slab body offers a lightweight and resonant foundation, providing a clear and balanced tonal response across all frequencies. The guitar's hardtail bridge with vintage bent saddles enhances sustain and ensures reliable string alignment, making it suitable for a wide range of playing styles.
The Valentine features a roasted maple neck and fretboard paired with locking tuners. This construction provides exceptional stability and durability while delivering a smooth, fast-playing surface for both chords and lead work. The locking tuners maintain precise tuning during aggressive playing or frequent string bends, ensuring the guitar stays in tune for longer periods and reducing setup time. With a 25.5" scale length, 12" radius, and 22 narrow frets, the neck offers comfortable access to higher frets and consistent playability across the entire fretboard.
Equipped with Sterling by Music Man pickups in a versatile configuration (humbucker in the neck and single-coil in the bridge, housed in a humbucker casing), the Valentine delivers a wide tonal range suitable for multiple genres. A three-way pickup selector allows seamless switching between tones, and the 12dB push-push boost adds extra volume and clarity when needed, making it ideal for solos or driving amplifier settings. This combination of features ensures the Valentine is capable of both classic vintage tones and modern expressive sounds, offering flexibility for studio work, live performance, or personal practice.
