The Reverend Airwave 12 in Black Sparkle delivers that unmistakable, larger than life 12-string chime while avoiding the tuning headaches and playability issues that often come with the territory. A semi hollow mahogany body with a solid spruce top provides resonance, depth and shimmering overtones, enhanced by Reverend's Shooting Star f holes. The result is a lively, harmonically rich voice that feels open and expressive.
Steelhead P90 pickups offer hum cancelling clarity with the punch, snap and midrange presence that suits a 12-string perfectly. The string through body bridge features an aluminium string block for added sustain and sparkle, and each of the 12 strings can be intonated individually for flawless tuning across the entire neck. A wide 45 mm Boneite nut gives your fingers room to stretch out comfortably, while the 24.75 inch scale keeps chords easy and familiar.
A three piece mahogany neck adds strength and stability, paired with an ebony fingerboard for a fast, slick feel and enhanced sustain. Reverend's Bass Contour control expands the tonal palette, allowing you to tighten the low end or revoice the pickups for different styles. Pin Lock tuners with featherweight pearloid buttons keep the guitar balanced and stable, while the dual action truss rod, Pure Tone jack and six bolt neck plate ensure long term reliability.
Finished in Black Sparkle with a brown back and the updated headstock logo, the Airwave 12 is a refined, modern take on the classic electric 12-string experience.
