Here we have something that frankly isn't the normal type of thing you'd expect to find at Peach, but we couldn't pass up the opportunity to get something so unusual.

This is a PRS Private stock Custom 24 - 8 String from the Guitar of the month program. So describe the rarity in accurate terms, there will only be 8 of these made in total and only 2 are coming to the UK, and we're honoured to be getting one of them!

The model has been based fairly closely on the 8 string designed with Periphery's Mark Holcomb, and whether you're an ultra metal nut, or a prog jazz genius this guitar is a very versatile and capable tool.

The tunings as standard for anyone unaware will be meant for F#, B, E, A, D, G, B, E, so it's standard tuning on the top 6 strings but with 2 strings lower still at the bottom that will have an insane growl for chords, and unlock even more fretboard for lead playing.

The pickups are also worthy of note, they're Holcomb's signature Seymour Duncan Alpha & Omega pickups, which provide an agressive snarl, but remains articulate and glassy too.

Spec wise, this is a Swamp Ash back, curly Maple neck, African Blackwood fretboard and mother of pearl inlays

The finish and top is bound to be gorgeous too, the colour is called 'Frostbite Glow'.
