Developed with guitarist, composer, producer, and instructor Mark Lettieri, the PRS Fiore offers a modern aesthetic, effortless playability, and an addictive and sophisticated tonal canvas. Mark Lettieri was determined to design a vibrant and dynamic guitar that could inspire a whole generation of players. It's safe to say the new PRS Fiore (meaning "Flower" in Italian) does just that!
Finding the correct body wood choice was very important to Lettieri, ultimately the decision was reached to use a lightweight Swamp Ash body. Swamp Ash is incredibly punchy and responsive, perfect for this style of guitar. This particular example is finished was a stunning Pearl White, a truly stand-out finish which glimmers beautifully under stage lights.
The bolt-on Maple neck allows for a bright and snappy tone. It is supremely comfortable and boasts a 25.5" Scale Length, 22 frets and of course the iconic PRS birds sit proudly on the 10" radius fretboard. This neck allows for great access all over, perfect for both lead and chords.
This HH version is loaded with a pair of Fiore-H pickups for a full-on humbucking experience. Built to be powerful and punchy enough for an exceptional high-gain tone but retaining a sweet high-end for superb cleans. By utilising the two push/pull tone knobs and 3-way pickup selector switch, you have incredible tonal variety. The push/pull acts as a series/parallel for each pickup. When in series, you experience the total humbucker tone which is packed with rich warmth and full lows. In parallel, you can reach more of that single-coil tone with great clarity and sparkling highs.
