This series proudly features the continued presence of the Idris, Serus, Solus, and Voltur models, along with the exciting addition of the Miris model to enrich the lineup. Immerse yourself in cutting-edge hardware, inventive designs, fresh pickup configurations, and a diverse array of exquisite finishes. Today, we take great pleasure in introducing the Voltur V2 model, a superb example of Novo's exciting Nucleus range.
The Novo Voltur V2's body is crafted from tempered pine, a choice that not only adds resonance but also infuses the guitar with a distinct vintage warmth. The light distressing on the body not only enhances its visual appeal but also serves as a nod to the wear and tear of a well-played instrument, instantly establishing a connection with the rich history of electric guitars.
The neck of the Voltur V2 boasts a Chunky 'C' carve, offering a comfortable and substantial feel in the player's hands. Crafted from tempered maple, the neck provides stability and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth playing experience. The rosewood fingerboard, with a radius ranging from 9.5" to 14", caters to both chordal work and soloing, making it a versatile choice for players across genres.
The Novo Voltur V2 is equipped with a Fralin Unbucker in the bridge position, featuring an uncovered design. This pickup, with its push/pull coil tap functionality, provides players with a diverse sonic palette, seamlessly transitioning from humbucking power to the distinctive clarity of a split-coil single coil.
Complementing the Unbucker, the neck pickup is a Lollar Staple P-90, drawing inspiration from the original 1950s Staple pickup. Lollar's modern interpretation enhances articulation and delivers higher output while maintaining a crystal-clear top end. Together, these pickups offer a wide spectrum of tones, making the Novo Voltur V2 an ideal choice for players who demand versatility in their sound.
The bridge of the Voltur V2 is a Chopped Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles, ensuring precise intonation and optimal sustain. The Voltur V2 comes strung with Stringjoy 11-50 strings, offering a balanced tension that complements the guitar's tonal characteristics. The 24.75" scale length and 1.687" nut width contribute to the instrument's comfortable playability, accommodating a wide range of playing styles.
