This Novo Serus J is crafted from tempered pine, offering a unique tonal character that sets it apart from the crowd. This lightweight and resonant wood contributes to the guitar's overall tonal excellence. The neck, made from tempered maple, complements the body, providing stability and a smooth playing experience. The rosewood fingerboard offers a smooth playing platform with a 9.5"-14" compound radius, Moto dot inlays, and medium nickel/silver frets.
The Medium 'C' neck carve with a 25.5" scale length ensures a comfortable feel, making it an ideal choice for both seasoned players and those exploring the world of boutique guitars for the first time. The 1.65" nut width provides ample room for intricate playing while maintaining playability for a wide range of musical styles.
At the heart of the Novo Serus J are the Fralin P-90 pickups, known for delivering the ultimate vintage P90 tone. Renowned for their versatility, clarity, and snarly midrange, these pickups open up a sonic palette that allows players to explore a diverse range of tones. The Fralin P-90 captures the essence of vintage P90s with clear lows, thick mids, and percussive highs, guaranteeing inspiration regardless of your preferred musical style. They are designed, built, and assembled in Virginia, USA, using 100% USA-made parts.
This guitar features a Mastery bridge and vibrato, which gives you great stability and control over the guitar. Since 2007, Mastery have been setting the standard for stability, tuning accuracy, and smooth operation. This hardware allows players to confidently explore the expressive potential of the guitar. Fitted with Stringjoy 10-48 strings, this guitar offers a balanced tension that suits a variety of playing styles. Whether you're bending notes or digging into aggressive riffs, these strings respond with precision and clarity.
