For a limited time, the GP-X2E Ziricote Special joins the X Series as an exciting new Grand Performance model. It blends comfort, versatility, and bold sound by striking a balance between a Dreadnought and a 000. With strong projection, a dynamic voice, and a well-rounded low end, this guitar suits a wide range of playing styles.
The GP-X2E features a solid Sapele top, which gives this guitar a lovely warmth and punchy midrange. The Zirizote patterned HPL back and sides looks stunning and compliment the Sapele brilliantly. Inside the guitar you’ll find scalloped x-bracing, which helps to enhance resonance and the overall tone of the guitar.
The Select Hardwood neck features a Performing Artist neck profile, and a high-performance taper. This neck is built for comfort and ease of use. The select hardwood fingerboard is adorned with faux mother of pearl diamond and square inlays, adding a classic and refined touch. It also features a 25.4 scale length, a 16” radius, 20 frets, and a 1 ¾” nut width.
Martin E1 electronics give you full control over your sound with volume tone and phase controls to shape your plugged in tone and reduce feedback. A built in chromatic tuner makes it easy to stay in tune at home in the studio or on stage without any cables. The GP X2E Ziricote Special also includes a softshell case so you can take it wherever inspiration strikes.
