It's hard to imagine a world for us guitarists where Jimi Hendrix hadn't teamed up with Marshall; that's because that partnership changed the rock landscape forever afterwards. To celebrate this partnership from 60 years ago, this extremely limited edition bundle has been issued in a collab between Marshall and the Hendrix estate. We're thrilled to partner up with Marshall to help celebrate and mark this monumental occasion!
The Marshall Jimi Hendrix JMH Studio Vintage amplifier offers the same versatility and legendary tone as the standard Studio Vintage amp, but with some killer Jimi Hendrix-inspired visual touches. As fans of the SV20 will already know, this circuit is incredibly versatile and can deliver everything from sparkling clean tones right through to higher-gain rock tones. The vintage-inspired controls also offer plenty of flexibility, so you can really dial in the amp to taste. The JMH Studio features a number of unique details that set it apart, including a black and purple psychedelic pattern, purple LED indicator, silver beading, and a Hendrix-inspired all-seeing eye badge. Powered by a pair of EL34 power tubes, this amp delivers that iconic Marshall Plexi tone in a much more compact and player-friendly format.
The matching 2x12 cabinet features the exact same black and purple psychedelic pattern, so the full rig really does look great together. It's loaded with a pair of Celestion V-Type speakers, which are the same speakers used in the standard production Studio Vintage 2x12 cabinet. They sound great and are the perfect choice to bring this limited edition Jimi Hendrix amplifier to life!
