    The new and improved Handwired series pedals feature quality through hole components, Alpha pots and switches and Switchcraft jacks all housed in a custom sheet metal enclosure. Pedals are also equipped with top mounted jacks. All Handwired series pedals are made in Finland.

    The Royal Blue Overdrive offers a wide range of gain from light overdrive to distortion. With the Drive rolled all the way off it can also serve as boost with EQ. Filtering is limited on the overdrive to provide transparent tone that you can tailor with the Treble and Bass controls.

    One of the most valued attributes of an overdrive pedal is touch sensitivity. Like the best boutique amps the RBO lets you determine the amount of breakup by how hard you strike the strings with your pick, and/or by adjusting the volume knob on your guitar. The Royal Blue can add this level of expressiveness to any clean or slightly overdriven amplifier.

    • VOLUME: Set the overall output level of the pedal.
    • DRIVE: Controls the amount of distortion.
    • BASS: Boost/cut "shelving" type equaliser controls the amount of low end.
    • TREBLE: Boost/cut "shelving" type equaliser controls the amount of high end.
    • Current draw at 9VDC approx. 3.5mA

    • Output impedance - 25 K
    • Voltage supply range - 7.5-12V

    • CAUTION! Never operate the unit with its bottom removed or damage will most likely occur.
    • DC eliminator 2.1 mm plug centre negative and positive sleeve.
    • The Royal Blue Overdrive is protected against wrong DC eliminator polarity.
    • Use recommend voltage for best results.
