    The Lollar Jazz Bass 4-String Neck pickup delivers the lively, articulate and percussive character of the original 60s J-Bass sound, but with a more dynamic and expressive response that suits modern playing styles. It offers a bright, snappy attack that works beautifully for slap, melodic lead lines and chordal work, while the enhanced midrange helps your tone stay present and defined in any mix.

    In the neck position, the pickup provides warmth and fullness without sacrificing clarity. Notes remain crisp and well separated, with a tight low end that avoids muddiness and keeps your sound focused whether you are playing clean, using effects or pushing an amp harder. The top end stays open and musical, giving you the articulation needed for both traditional and contemporary bass tones.

    With a DC resistance of 7.9K, the neck pickup pairs perfectly with the standard 8.5K bridge version for smooth transitions between positions. Finished with a black cover and built with vintage-style construction, it is an excellent upgrade for any Jazz Bass.
