As part of the RGD series, it features Ibanez's signature 26.5 inch scale, designed specifically to keep the low E string clear, punchy and articulate under high gain. Whether you're riffing in standard or dropped baritone tunings, the RGD621AH stays focused and responsive.
A ash top sits over a layered ash and okoume body, giving the guitar a mix of brightness, midrange presence and low-end warmth. Finished in Midnight Shade Flat, it has a sleek, modern aesthetic that suits the Axion Label's darker, more aggressive styling.
The Wizard III neck is a 5-piece panga panga/walnut construction, offering excellent stability and a fast, slim feel. A Macassar ebony fretboard with white Step off-set dot inlays completes the look, while 24 jumbo frets give you plenty of room for expressive bends and fast lead work.
Electronics come courtesy of DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers, designed for clarity, tight low-end and strong midrange definition under high-gain conditions. They excel at modern metal tones while remaining articulate for clean passages. A coil tap switch expands the tonal palette further, offering single-coil-style clarity when needed.
The Gibraltar Standard III bridge provides rock-solid tuning stability and excellent sustain, while Gotoh MG-T locking tuners keep everything locked down during heavy playing. Black hardware completes the stealthy, modern look.
