Such was his impact that it came as no surprise when Gibson announced him as their first ever Global Ambassador, their latest project? The Gibson Slash 1966 EDS-1275 Double neck.

Double neck guitars are an almost mythical concept, only the greatest and bravest can truly harness the power of one, and Slash is one of those players. Picked up from a small Indiana guitar store in 1990, it quickly became a part of his rotation.

With the classic solid lightweight Mahogany body, finished in a beautiful Aged Ebony, this guitar really does deliver all the authentic Gibson magic you would expect. The ageing is meticulous and has a real 60s vibe.

The necks are topped with lush Rosewood fingerboards, complete with split parallelogram inlays this is a true vintage inspired masterpiece. With the 12 string on top you can add lush textures to your choruses before ripping a solo on the standard 6 string below. Its really nicely balanced and ergonomic.
