The Mark Morton signature Les Paul is one of the most exciting collaborations we’ve seen in a long time! Mark is known for his massive riffs and intricate lead work with Lamb of God, with a career spanning multiple decades he, has inspired countless players and left his mark in the world of American heavy metal. Mark has long been an admirer and fan of Les Pauls and classic Gibson designs. This new signature model is an evolution of the classic Les Paul shape designed to support every aspect of Mark’s playing!

This signature model begins with a classic Les Paul body crafted from Mahogany and 3A Quilted Maple. The Mahogany body features Gibson’s ultra modern weight relief, making it exceptionally comfortable to play during long performances. The depth of figuring within the Quilted Maple top is just astonishing, they look awesome and give each serial number a unique identity. The Translucent Ebony Burst Satin finish looks super premium and does a great job helping the Quilted Maple pop.

The mahogany neck is super comfortable and easy to play. It features Gibson’s SlimTaper neck profile, which is one of the most popular and requested Gibson neck shapes. It feels great in your hands and is the perfect thickness for playing heavy riffs alongside intricate lead lines. This guitar also has a modern contoured heel, which gives you great access to the upper frets. The Ebony fingerboard is super dark in colour, which adds to this guitars slick, stealthy vibe. It features a 24.75” scale length, 22 medium jumbo frets, compound radius, 43.053mm nut width, and mother of pearl trapezoid inlays.

A key component in this guitars sound is the all-new Mark Morton signature humbuckers crafted by the Gibson Pickup Shop. These pickups have been designed from the ground up to deliver Mark’s distinctive sound. The rhythm pickup uses moderate P.A.F style windings with a ceramic magnet for clarity and punch. The lead pickup has higher output windings and a ceramic magnet for added presence and power. Both pickups are wired to a three-way selector and individual volume and tone controls.

Other key specs include Grover rotomatic locking tuners, Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece, and chrome hardware. These guitars ship in a high quality Gibson modern hardshell case and come strung with Mark’s signature Stringjoy strings.
