The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut is a versatile acoustic-electric guitar suitable for both studio and stage. Built with solid walnut back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top, it delivers a warm and balanced tone. The guitar features an Advanced Response neck profile for comfortable playability, an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup for amplified sound, and a satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. It comes with a hardshell case.

The Gibson J-45 Studio Walnut offers a distinct tonal character and practical features for both studio recording and live performance. This guitar is constructed with solid walnut back and sides, contributing to a warm, resonant sound. The solid Sitka spruce top complements the walnut, adding brightness and clarity to the overall tone. The traditional body depth of the J-45 contributes to its full sound.
The neck is crafted from utile wood and features an Advanced Response profile, designed for comfortable playability. The scale length is 24.75 inches, and the walnut fingerboard has a 16-inch radius. The guitar has 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The nut is made of Tusq and has a width of 1.725 inches. The neck is joined to the body using a Compound Dovetail neck-to-body joint with Hot Hide Glue.
The J-45 Studio Walnut is equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze under-saddle piezo pickup. This pickup is designed to provide a natural amplified tone for stage use or recording directly into an audio interface. The pickup has a soundhole-mounted volume control and a standard 1/4-inch endpin output jack.
The guitar's body is finished with a satin nitrocellulose lacquer. A multi-ply binding adorns the top, while the back has single-ply binding. The bracing is traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing. The bridge is a belly-up style made of walnut, and the saddle is also made of Tusq. Grover Rotomatic tuning machines ensure stable tuning. The guitar features a tear-drop pickguard with a bevelled edge in tortoise. An adjustable truss rod allows for neck relief adjustments, and the truss rod cover is a black bell shape labelled "Studio". The bridge pins are Tusq. The guitar comes with a modern hardshell case for protection and transport.
