With a weight-relieved Mahogany body, this Les Paul benefits from a high grade AAA 2-piece figured Maple top for the ultimate tonewood partnership. Rich and super resonant it offers premium tone and timeless aesthetics, while the Purple Fade Burst gloss finish brings a unique modern flavour - vibrant, striking and eye-catching in all the right ways. This is the way a modern Les Paul can stand out from the pack! Matched with a Purple Toner finish on the back it really looks the part.
One of the benefits of the Axcess model comes in its supreme ergonomic design. The contoured heel allows for easy access to every fret while the reinforced Apex headstock provides superior structural stability.
The Mahogany neck is topped with a dark Ebony fingerboard and Mother of Pearl block inlays, this guitar looks every bit the real deal. With a 24.75" scale length, 12" fingerboard radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets, it retains that classic Les Paul feel. Meanwhile, the Floyd Rose tremolo and SlimTaper C neck profile offer an alternative, modern vibe.
The defining feature of the Gibson Les Paul Axcess is the incredible tones provided courtesy of the the Gibson 490R neck and 498T bridge humbucker. These deliver that classic Gibson PAF tone we all know and love with Series/Parallel wiring for total tonal versatility.
