Gibson Custom Collectors Choice #4 Sandy 1959 Les Paul Dirty Lemon NOS

Brand new in a box! This one was stashed by us when it came in, as we were collecting one of each of the collectors choice series Les Pauls, sadly though we had to ship one of our other CC guitars back to Gibson for a little bit of work and the courier managed to smash the guitar to pieces, whilst in transit :-(

With these limited run guitars, Gibson sticks to the exact number published, so they couldn't make us a replacement for the one that was damaged, so we decided to sell off the other CC guitars, we're definitely keeping CC 1 though!

Collector's Choice #4, serial number 9-1228, aka "Sandy", has been studied, scanned and replicated to deliver an unmatched experience that captures the essence of one of the most amazing original 1959 Les Pauls that Gibson's Custom Shop have ever had the pleasure of holding. Sandy's current owner, Tom Witrock contributed significant time and attention to insure that the Collector's Choice version of his prized 'burst is as close to the real thing as is possible. Fine details include precise neck and top-carves, exposed zebra coils, Alnico 3 magnets with offset, square windows, and wear patterns that capture the current state of Sandy nearly perfectly. Collector's Choice #4 will be crafted in a maximum run of 300 guitars, with the availability of qualifying materials ultimately determining the final number.
