The Fender Vintera II range brings classic instruments from Fender’s history to today’s players. With era-specific models, you can experience the feel and tone of Fender’s golden years without paying Custom Shop prices. New for 2025, the Road Worn finish option makes its return, featuring lacquer-cracked nitrocellulose finishes that look, feel, and sound just like a well-played vintage original.
The 1960s Telecaster is one of the most legendary guitars ever made. Known for its iconic look, sound, and feel, original models now sell for £35,000 and above. With the Vintera II Road Worn collection, Fender has captured the essence of those vintage instruments, delivering the same magic at a far more accessible price.
This guitar features a lightwight Alder body, and a nitrocellulose finish, which features some subtle ageing all over. It features light lacquer checking, subtle wear patterns, and a semi-gloss finish, which gives the guitars a naturally aged appearance. The softer sheen helps them look older and slightly dulled, closely mirroring the way vintage Fenders age after years of play and use.
In classic Fender fashion, this guitar features a bolt-on Maple neck, which has an Early ‘60s C neck profile. Thanks to this comfortable profile, and the road worn aged neck, you can quickly navigate the whole guitar with ease. The slab Rosewood fingerboard has a 7.25” radius, 21 vintage tall frets, a 25.5” scale length, 42mm nut width, and classic dot inlays.
With a pair of Vintage Style ‘60s single coils, this Telecaster absolutely nails those classic early 1960s Fender Telecaster tones. They deliver all the crystal-clear chime and raw, steely twang that made Fender famous. If you love classic Telecaster tones, then these are worth checking out.
Other features include a vintage-style 3-saddle bridge with slotted steel saddles and vintage-style tuning machines for enhanced tuning stability.
