Based on Tim Armstrong's old Fender acoustic from the 1960s in which he wrote all of his legendary Rancid riffs, this signature model is one of Fender's best selling artist models ever, and for good reason - it sounds superb, looks elegant and classic with a few stand-out features to help it punch well above its weight.
Tim's signature is featured on the truss rod cover, while special Hellcat and Double Skull inlays adorn the fingerboard with style.
A solid Mahogany top is paired with scalloped bracing to make for a more lightweight and more resonant guitar but a beautiful tone. Mahogany back and sides, a Walnut fingerboard and Maple neck provide a stable base while a satin urethane neck and 43mm nut width provide a smooth and comfortable playing experience. A GraphTech NuBone nut and vintage-style tuning machines help provide excellent tuning stability.
