The Fender Player II Stratocaster HSS blends classic Strat style with modern versatility, pairing sparkling single coil tones with the added punch and warmth of a Player Series Alnico II humbucker. While it radiates timeless Fender charm, every detail is refined for players who want comfort, stability and expressive tonal range.
A Modern C maple neck with a satin urethane back finish provides a smooth, fast feel, paired with a 9.5 inch radius maple fingerboard featuring rolled edges and 22 medium jumbo frets for fluid leads and confident bends. This model features a contoured alder body finished in Cactus Grey, one of the archive inspired colours exclusive to the Player II series. The wider range also includes chambered ash and chambered mahogany options.
The HSS pickup set delivers crystalline highs, musical mids and tight lows from the Alnico V Strat single coils, while the Alnico II humbucker adds a thicker, more powerful voice for heavier styles. The 5 way blade switch provides access to everything from glassy neck chime to full bridge humbucker roar. A 2 point synchronised tremolo with bent steel saddles offers smooth, expressive vibrato, and ClassicGear tuners with an 18:1 ratio ensure precise, reliable tuning stability.
