The Eric Johnson Stratocaster in Tropical Turquoise is a masterfully built signature model that reflects the tone, feel and aesthetic preferences of one of the most discerning guitarists alive. With a lightweight 2-piece alder body, bound rosewood fingerboard, and Custom Shop Eric Johnson pickups, this Strat delivers the clarity, warmth and dynamic response that define Johnson's sound.
The quartersawn maple neck features a soft V profile, 12" radius, and 21 medium jumbo frets, offering a smooth, fast-playing feel with vintage character. The bound rosewood fingerboard adds a touch of elegance and stability, while the nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the body to resonate freely and age gracefully over time.
Under the hood, three specially voiced single-coil pickups with countersunk screws provide bell-like cleans and articulate mids, routed through a 5-way switch and traditional Strat controls. A vintage-style synchronised tremolo with a silver-painted block and no backplate (per Johnson's spec) enhances sustain and tuning stability.
Finished in a striking Tropical Turquoise with gold hardware, 1-ply parchment pickguard, and vintage-style staggered tuners, this Stratocaster is as visually refined as it is sonically rich. It ships with a deluxe blonde hardshell case, Levy's strap, Koil Kords cable, and bridge cover.
