Brent Mason is one of the hottest players on the Nashville session scene. A veteran of over 30 years experience, Mason has been named "Guitarist of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music an incredible 12 times and counts a Grammy and 2 CMA awards among his achievements. This is part of the Fender Stories Collection and is a recreation of his prized 66/67 model has undergone a host of modifications!
A lightweight Ash body is finished in an industrial style satin Primer Grey. Crisp, unique and instantly recognisable, this Tele is sure to turn heads. The Black pick guard and mismatched Gold and Chrome hardware look ace and further add to the heavily modified vibe.
The Maple neck has a smooth, vintage feel. With a 7.25" radius and vintage tap frets, the Brent Mason Tele features a late 60s C profile; it feels comfortable and robust, just like a vintage Fender should.
A versatile session player like Mason requires a guitar that deliver a multitude of tonal options, and this Tele delivers just that. With a Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack at the bridge, a Hot Stack in the middle and a Vintage Mini humbucker at the neck it offers 3 distinctive tonal bases on which to build.
The ultimate hidden feature is the inclusion of the legendary Joe Glaser B-Bender system, allowing a range of Pedal Steel style licks and chord voicings, an essential country tool!

This guitar is pre-owned and though it is in good condition it does show some signs of use, such as wear / scuffs on the pickguard and some slight sheen to the satin finish.
