It was much more stripped back I nature as it didn’t have the carved maple top, second pickup, or the ornate details found on the Les Paul Standard. But it didn’t take long for professional musicians to fall in love with the unique tone and mid range bite found on these guitars, they quickly became some of the most highly sought after Gibson guitars around. This Epiphone edition pays tribute to these legendary guitars while still being a high-quality instrument that’s more affordable for today’s players.
This guitar features a single cut Les Paul Junior body crafted from solid Mahogany. It’s a good weight, super resonant, and has incredible power and sustain. The TV Yellow finish looks awesome and is one of the Les Paul Junior’s most iconic colour option. The Mahogany neck features a 50s Vintage neck shape, which is inspired by the neck shape found on vintage Les Paul Juniors crafted in the 1950s. The Rosewood fretboard features a 43mm nut width, 24.75” scale length, 22 frets, and pearloid dot inlays.
With a singular Epiphone P-90 PRO Dogear pickup, this guitar nails those iconic Les Paul Junior tones. It’s super clear, and has that trademark mid range bite.
