The Eastman AC630 is a premium acoustic guitar designed for exceptional tone, stability, and playability. Built with precision and high-quality materials, it delivers a clear, resonant sound suitable for both professional musicians and serious enthusiasts. Every aspect of its construction is intended to enhance performance, durability, and comfort.
The AC630's neck is crafted from premium maple, a material known for its strength and stability, ensuring consistent performance and reduced risk of warping over time. Paired with an ebony fingerboard, it provides a smooth playing surface and clear note articulation. The 12" radius and traditional even "C" neck profile offer comfortable playability across all positions, while the 1 3/4" bone nut provides ideal string spacing for fingerstyle players. Jescar-FW43080 fretwire ensures accurate intonation, excellent wear resistance, and a long lifespan, while the 25.4" scale length delivers a balanced tonal range with strong projection.
The body combines a solid Engelmann spruce top with solid flamed maple back and sides. The spruce top, supported by hand-scalloped X bracing, produces a rich, dynamic tone with excellent responsiveness. The flamed maple adds brightness and clarity to the sound while also enhancing the guitar's visual appeal with its striking grain. With body dimensions of 17" x 4 23/32", the AC630 achieves a strong balance between playing comfort and volume projection, making it suitable for a wide range of playing environments.
High-quality hardware and detailed craftsmanship further enhance the AC630's performance. The ebony bridge and bone saddle, with 2 5/32" string spacing, promote precise intonation and strong resonance transfer. Gotoh SG301-20GG tuners provide smooth, accurate tuning stability, while figured maple binding and pearl/abalone inlays highlight the instrument's high-end build quality. The dual-acting truss rod allows fine control over neck relief, ensuring long-term playability. The AC630 comes strung with D'Addario XS Phosphor Bronze (.012–.053) strings for a balanced, durable tone, and each guitar is professionally set up for optimal action and response before shipping.
For protection and convenience, the AC630 is supplied with a fitted hardshell case and a 4mm truss rod wrench. This ensures the instrument remains safe during transport and allows for easy maintenance when needed. Without onboard electronics, the AC630 offers a pure acoustic sound, perfect for natural microphone recording or pairing with an external pickup system of your choice.
