With a crisp Sitka Spruce top on a lush Honduran Mahogany back and sides, the Collings D1H delivers depth, warmth and tonal clarity. Perfect as an accompaniment instrument, it is often favoured by bluegrass flatpickers who enjoy the slick response and great projection.
A Honduran Mahogany neck boasts an Ebony fingerboard with a modified V profile, Bone 1 11/16" Nut, 25.5" scale length and a 14"-26" compound radius. Supremely comfortable underhand, it's an absolute joy to play, beautifully well balanced and incredibly high quality.
