Martin are world renowned for their ability to craft beautiful guitars perfect for the working musician. Their 2018 collection shows exactly the kind of quality that has kept that at the top of the game for over 100 years. The release of the Standard Series Reimagined range sees classic Martin design bought into the 21st century with the kind of appointment the modern player demands. High performance necks and updated internal bracing ensure a smooth playing and sounding guitar that retains all that classic Martin mojo.
With an incredible Sitka Spruce top you get a really dynamic and vibrant tone. Pair that with the East Indian Rosewood back and sides and you have a tonal dream team, it’s visually and tonally stunning. The 14th fret join allows for great access up the neck and a perfectly poised and balanced playing experience.
The neck is an absolute dream to play. With a High Performance Taper Modified Low Oval shape, 16” radius, 25.4” scale length and a 1 3/4” nut width, this Martin is supremely comfortable and smooth underhand. The Ebony fingerboard is the perfect partner for this neck; beautifully crafted it’s a real treat to play.
Open geared tuners, antique white binding, polished gloss finish, a tortoise colour pickguard and abalone pearl inlay offer shimmer with exemplary tone. This is a great addition to the line up.
