The ID:X Floor isn't made to just look like an amp though, its amp modelling digitally recreates every electrical component in an amp's circuitry so that it behaves and responds the same way.

With 12 different electric amp models based on not just Blackstar's range but Ampton's too, in addition to 3 bass amps, 2 acoustic amps, and an acoustic simulator, this unit caters to a wide range of players across many styles and genres. Each amp has access to Gain, Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble, and Blackstar's patented ISF control - which interacts with the 3-band EQ to shape your sound to a more American or British tone - and with a Master volume to easily change your output level without effecting tone. What's more is that you can even change each amp to have the response of EL84, EL34, or 6L6 power tubes.

Also built in are over 35 different effects, ranging from overdrives and compressors put before the amp, to reverbs, delays, and modulations set after - all with tap tempo and tweakable parameters to dial in your tone.

The ID:X is made to slot neatly into your rig without any hassle. Whether you're going straight to your amp, or utilising the CabRig Speaker simulation to record via USB-C, go straight to front-of-house with mono/stereo XLR, or simply listening through headphones, you just need to plug in and play! The CabRig features exclusive 'In The Room' technology to give you the feel of playing through an amp next to you, as opposed to hearing a mic'd up studio recording of one.
