Avalon L325 Used
For almost 30 years, Avalon Guitars have been crafting instruments that really embrace traditional artisan lutherie, working with the finest tonewoods available; they build instruments of character and integrity. Originally part of Lowden Guitars, Avalon produced over 15000 Lowden’s between 1989 and 2003 before the companies parted way.
The Avalon L325 is a Northern Ireland crafted masterpiece, part of the Legacy Series, it is a great example of high end acoustic construction. With a delicious combination of East Indian Rosewood back and sides and a Western Red Cedar top, it has a real bold tone, powerful yet really sweetly refined. It is really beautifully balanced and delivers real clarity and punch.
The Mahogany neck features an Ebony fingerboard and is just a treat to play, comfortable underhand and with a nice playing action, this is a real player’s guitar. Equipped with a Fishman pickup and preamp system, it’s the perfect stage companion.
This guitar is used and does show signs of use. We have tried our best to highlight any cosmetic defects in our high quality studio photos so please refer to them for further details. There are several small finish imperfections and marks on the back and sides and a few minor marks on the back of the neck. The frets could do with some attention as there is heavy wear on a few of them too. We were going to put this guitar up for £2000 but given the fretwear we are going to leave the price at a very reasonable £1499.
Complete with Hiscox hardcase, this is boutique acoustic construction at a really fantastic price.
