Avalon A2-20SE Used

For almost 30 years, Avalon Guitars have been crafting instruments that really embrace traditional artisan lutherie, working with the finest tonewoods available; they build instruments of character and integrity. Originally part of Lowden Guitars, Avalon produced over 15000 Lowden's between 1989 and 2003 before the companies parted way.

The Avalon A2-20SE is a Northern Ireland crafted masterpiece, part of the Pioneer Series, it is a great example of high end acoustic construction. With a delicious combination of East Indian Rosewood back and sides and a Spruce top, it has a real bold tone, powerful yet really sweetly refined. It is really beautifully balanced and delivers real clarity and punch.

The Mahogany neck features an Ebony fingerboard and is just a treat to play, comfortable underhand and with a nice playing action, this is a real player's guitar. Equipped with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup and preamp system, it's the perfect stage companion.
