The Forty-Three is inspired by the legendary banner era J-45, originally designed to recreate Buddy Holly's famous 1943 J-45, Atkin have now permanently added this incredible guitar to their catalogue.

With a Torrefied Sitka Spruce top on Mahogany back and sides, the Forty-Three is a tonewood dream, offering a rich, resonant and super clean tone, it is a guitar of the highest quality. With a super thin aged Sunburst nitro finish, the Forty-Three has some of the most detailed lacquer checking around, it looks every bit the vintage guitar.

The Mahogany neck features a Santos Rosewood fingerboard that feels smooth, well balanced and ready to play. The 24.78" scale length and 1 11/16" nut width gives an authentic and supremely comfortable playing experience and is a real testament to the amazing work coming from Atkin at the moment.
