It was a pretty big move, for Guthrie to leave Suhr and move to another guitar company but Charvel have done a great job with these, Guthrie certainly wouldn't put his name on this guitar, if he wasn't 100% happy with it.
It comes in 2 different version, one with a birdseye maple top and one with a flame maple top.
It has a few specs that are inherited from his previous Suhr Modern Antique signature model, such as a heat treated maple neck, call it what you will, roasted, baked, caramelized etc, HSH pickup swiitching, compound radius, jumbo stainless steel frets and a basswood body with a maple top.
It has a recessed original style NOS Floyd Rose trem but with a traditional bone nut with locking tuners, which gives you a great open tone but still with amazing tuning stability.
