For those of you that missed out on the much lauded PRS Guitar of the month in February 2016 - you can now own the exact same guitar with 100% of the same specs, just without the the moniker of being "guitar of the month"
When we sold our original February GOTM, i immediately enquired with PRS to see if they would make any more without adding to the February numbers, but they said 100% no way! However, it looks like i managed to make them crumble...
The guitar was so popular as a certain John Mayer freaked out about his own 594 and had this to say;
"The 594 is the best new guitar I've played in years. It has a vintage heart and soul but without the technical limitations that usually come along with an old instrument. What good is an old guitar if you can't get all that feel out of the upper frets, or the intonation is off To hear that old PAF sound but be able to articulate the notes in a way that only modern manufacturing could allow is so exciting. Ths one's going all over my new record, because it sits so nicely between all of the sonic identities we all know and love. And it plays like a dream."
It's named the McCarty 594 to honour Paul's mentor Ted McCarty, it's attempts to pay its respects to vintage 'Golden era' instruments but with a modern build techniques that you've come to expect from their top shelf work.
