Drawing inspiration from the most iconic of Les Paul era's, the late 50's, the 2014 Gibson Les Paul Traditional120th Anniversary has a vintage heart but with all the benefits of a modern-day Gibson.
With its classic styling and traditional figured maple top on a solid mahogany body, this Les Paul is every bit the perfect tribute to the golden generation. Finished in a gorgeous Honeyburst it looks as great as it sounds.2014 was a great year for Gibson production and this version is widely regarded as the closest you can get to a Custom Shop 58/59 without cashing in the big bucks!
Loaded with a pair of ’59 Tribute humbuckers, you get authentic PAF tones. Made with Alnico II magnets, enamel coated wire and with slightly mismatched coils, these buckers give you that same depth and response that genuine late 50s Gibson PAF’s did.
Used but in great condition, this guitar bears a few marks on the back but nothing of any real note, check out the high quality studio shots for further details. Complete with the original case, this is a great example of Gibson construction.
