Another superb Fender Custom Shop Strat! This one is a limited run '60 model, in the lesser seen "charcoal frost metallic" finish, with an ace lookin' faux tortoiseshell pickguard.
Loaded with a set of some of my favourite Fender Custom Shop pickups - The mighty Fat 60's. These pickups nail the John Mayer tone with ease and are definitely going for that sweet chimey tone that JM is known for. They handle overdrive really well too. Even higher gain tones still have plenty of clarity and spank!
The guitar has the usual 60's specs of an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The radius is 10" and it has Medium Jumbo frets. This means it entirely playable all the way up the neck, without feeling too flat or modern.
Comes with a beautiful Custom shop case, along with a certificate of authenticity.
