The Godin umbrella of brands offers world class Canadian design and construction, and 2018's new release, the Desert Green Stadium '59, is certainly no different.
With a Canadian Laurentian Basswood body, finished in the really unique Desert Green, this guitar is nicely weighted and perfectly balanced. It's similar in feel and dimension to both an SG and Telecaster, it's robust but equally precise.
The Rock Maple neck with Dark Shadow finish, features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, rich and resonant its great underhand. With a 12" radius, 25.5" scale length and 22 frets the Stadium '59 feels really familiar and comfortable.
Loaded with a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker at the neck and a Godin Custom Cajun single coil at the bridge, this guitar has a real versatile and wide ranging tonal output. Complete with Godin's High Definition Revoicer, it's a really comprehensive guitar. The HDR augments and revoices the frequencies of each pickup and takes them into the next level of sonic clarity and with a zero hum, high definition sound.
Housed in a padded gigbag, the Stadium '59 is ready to hit the stage and studio!
