Fender Custom Shop Journeyman Clapton Signature Strat 2TSB

Fender Custom Shop
Product Overview

The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and one of its most famous players is ol' slow hand himself, Eric Clapton.

The Fender Custom Shop Journeyman Clapton Signature Stratocaster is a mirror of Eric's own personal spec'd Strats but now with a super sweet Journeyman finish. With the appearance of a vintage guitar this Custom Shop model benefits from all the playability and reliability of a brand new one. The lightweight Ash body is finished in a Classic 2 Tone Sunburst nitro lacquer, period correct, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.

The rift sawn Maple neck features a 9.5" radius for a superb modern playing action without any choking. The soft V neck profile and 22 vintage style frets offers a really comfortable playing experience, perfect for slow blues jams and lush lead lines. With vintage style tuners and a blocked off American Vintage tremolo, this guitar is a fitting tribute to Eric's own guitars.

With a trio of Fender Vintage Noiseless single coils pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Clapton Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone. With tone knob one featuring the Master TBX tone control and tone control two boasting the Master active Mid Boost (0-25dB) kit, this Strat offers the prefect configuration for the performing player.

The Fender Custom Shop have once again absolutly nailed it!
