The Dale Wilson Masterbuilt was one of the coolest guitars we laid our eyes on at NAMM 2017. With so much interest in this guitar we had to enter a draw for the opportunity to purchase, and with around 100 other dealers also interested we were delighted when our name was chosen!
Dale Wilson is known the world over as one of Fenders highly revered Masterbuilders, a select group of some of the worlds most esteemed luthiers. With this high status, any guitar with his name attached generates a huge amount of interest, and rightly so!
The Fender Custom Shop '72 Telecaster Thinline Heavy Relic is a great example of the legendary prowess of the Masterbuilders. With a 2-piece Alder body, finished in Heavy Relic Lacquer, this guitar has been painstakingly aged to give a truly authentic look.
A one piece quartersawn Maple neck rocks a 9.5' radius, StewMac #155 taller vintage frets, a Bullet truss rod and a mid '60s Oval C neck profile. It's beautiful, comfortable and smooth. Classic Fender tones come from a pair of Fender Wide-Range humbuckers, super versatile this guitar is much more than just a show piece!
The quality is so apparent from the very first glance, it's easy to see why Dale Wilson holds his place amongst the world's very finest luthiers.View Full Specs
