The Fender Jazz Bass, a legendary instrument with over 60 years of history, is renowned for its timeless design and remarkable versatility. The Limited Edition Custom Jazz Bass Heavy Relic embodies rebellious aesthetics and thunderous tone. Its two-piece ash body features a Heavy Relic lacquer finish, complemented by a tinted quartersawn maple neck with a '60 Jazz Bass "U" profile. The 9.5" radius AAA Rosewood fingerboard boasts 20 medium jumbo (6150) frets, white nitro binding, and mother of pearl block inlays.
This low-end behemoth is powered by hand-wound vintage Jazz Bass pickups, delivering a classic and enticing tone. The chrome control plate features knurled chrome master volume and tone control knobs, maintaining a timeless aesthetic. Additional features include a three-ply black pickguard, vintage-style bass bridge with four threaded saddles, '66 "lollipop" tuning machines, bone nut, and a third strap button on the rear of the headstock for old-school upright-style play.
