Its Quartersawn Roasted Maple neck features a smooth finish and a '63 Strat Style "C" neck shape, providing supreme comfort and balance. The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '64 Stratocaster is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
The sort for lightweight Alder body is finished in a cool Super Faded Aged Shell Pink nitro lacquer, Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other more modern finishes.
The Quartersawn Roasted Maple neck has a smooth finish with it's heavy relic neck back. With a 9.5" radius and 21 Narrow Tall frets, the '64 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a '63 Strat Style "C" neck shape. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced.
With a trio of handwound '64 Strat pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster tone.
